"Your Inner Compass and How to Use It"
When your destiny is unknown, in which direction do you travel? Because of the
many decisions we are called upon to make, every day can be a crossroad in our
life. But how do we choose form the options available to us--the ones we know
about, and more important. The ones we may not yet be aware of? This workshop
introduces a simple and practical method for finding and following your unique
path to fulfillment. It is great for anyone struggling with a difficult decision,
career burnout, or a restless spirit.
"The Money Game-How Do You Play It?"
Money. It's more powerful than sex in creating excitement and confusion in our
lives. The Dow Jones closes up 50 points and we feel great; Nasdaq plummets
and so does our self-esteem. The bank balance is flush and we feel safe; an
overdraft notice starts the adrenaline pumping. As much as we strategize to
get more and more money, enough never seems to be quite enough. If you want
to discover how and why you are driven by money, you are invited to play The
Money Game. It's the hottest game in town!
The Money Game is a powerful process designed to bring awareness to your relationship with money. Playing with real money, in scenarios that present a variety of actual exchange situations, you'll learn the truth about you and money! Exhilarating, excruciating and fun are just a few of the words used by players to describe their experience of The Money Game. What you experience will depend on how you play The Game. This game is particularly beneficial for those in couples, communities, and other committed relationships who seek a deeper understanding of how money impacts interpersonal dynamics.
"Finding Time in a 24/7/365 World"
In an age when so much is instantly available to us, why does it seem there
is never enough time? Where does all the time go? This workshop helps participants
identify four behaviors that get in the way of effective time-management and
shows three simple ways to attain a higher level of functioning and fulfillment.
Working with a model Time Continuum, they will identify how to transform the
quantity of time available into a quality time experience. For many participants
the material in the this workshop translates into a higher level of intentionality
and mastery to deal with life circumstances in a satisfying way.
"Your Church in Transition"
Designed for a church congregation, this workshop deals with the challenge and
opportunity of transtioning leadership. What do you do when the minister is
gone? Common sense says you must get a new one-and the sooner the better! A
deeper wisdom, however, might suggest an alternative: take a deep breath in,
let it out slowly
and relax. This time of transition is a rich opportunity
for your church group to get to know itself better. Instead of reacting to the
loss of a minister by rushing to replace him or her, consider this juncture
a space in which to assess what and who will best serve your ministry. By taking
the time to reflect now, the consciousness of your church can attract the leader
who is best qualified to serve you. "Your Church in Transition" is
a powerful way to structure this reflection.
"The New Church & You"
Confused about church? You're not alone! Based on Ellie Harold's book Where
Two Or More Are Gathered: A New Church for the 21st Century, this workshop works
with the premise that what we think of as church is an evolving process. A framework
for relating spiritual needs with the different levels of church empowers individuals
to have a more meaningful religious experience. Participants will learn to assess
their own needs, identify when those needs have been fulfilled, and how to graduate
to the next level of church when they are ready. This workshop will show an
already established church how to better serve the real needs of its congregants,
and will inform groups of unchurched people how to create a spiritual "community
of the teaching" outside the mainstream of traditional religious offerings.
